Yes, call us and let us know the problem. we can offer a local tow in service if needed or should you need a recovery we can arrange it for you. 

Don't start the Engine and call us. We can arrange to get your car recovered to us for the fuel to be drained. If you have already started the engine, stop as soon as possible as damage may occur and call us. 


If your vehicle fails we will explain why and show you the areas causing any problems. We can also fix the problems, usually straight after the MOT once we have your approval.

Yes. You are legally allowed to drive your car to a MOT station if you have made a prior booking.

Yes we can repair your vehicle and carry out MOT test if required.

Yes, you can have your vehicle MOT carried out 30 days in advance of the date of expiry. Should your car pass this would mean you have 13 months of MOT. We would always advise to get your MOT done before its date of expiry. 

The Ministry Of Transport set the "MOT" test procedure. A MOT is a basic test, It is not a service and no parts are changed on your vehicle during a MOT test. The items tested during an MOT include: Driving controls, exterior, lights,  brake performance and exhaust emissions.

Dont worry simply call us, explain your MOT has ran out,  we book your vehicle in and test it as soon as possible. Once passed the system is updated and you will be able to tax your car straight away.

Yes. We Can Test Class 7 Vehicles as well as Class 4. Just call to book. 

NO, A MOT test is a very different to a service, Do Not mix the two up. A MOT is a very basic test carried out to your Vehicle Annually and which is required by Law. No parts are changed or ajustments made to your vehicle on a MOT test.

NO. Once a MOT test has been carried out and a Failure is issued to you. You can not drive it untill it has been fixed and a MOT Pass certificate has been issued.

YES, 2003 legislation now states servicing for any make of vehicle can be carried out by any independent garage and your warranty will not be affected.

We advise 1 year or 10,000 miles as a guide. However you should  consult you vehicle Handbook as all manufacturers differ.

Yes. We can service all makes and models of cars. Please call us if you have an unusual or foreign make. 

Yes. Here at Regent Autos we are equipped to deal with all small commercial vehicles no matter what the fault. 

If you are unsure of your vehicles service history, we would always recommend a Major service. We advise to alternate each year between interim and major services.

Yes, should you require a service other than a Regent Autos standard service plan, just call us for price of what you want?

YES. A service is a comprehensive check of your vehicle. Unlike a MOT test your wheel are removed and your brakes are fully checked & serviced. Parts are replaced Ie: Oil & Oil Filter, Spark Plugs. Air, fuel and Pollen Filters. There are also many checks and adjustments made on a service which are NOT part of a MOT. Ie: Brake fluid boiling point, Antifreeze strength & battery condition. 

Yes: This is good way to save yourself time and money. Regent Autos offer fixed priced service & MOT test deals, meaning you pay as little as £10 for your MOT. Even if your Service & MOT dates are not the same. You can aline them by getting your service or MOT early. 

Yes, Regent Autos is VAT registered, which means we can deal with most warranty companies on your behalf and carry out any repairs needed. 

Yes, Regent Autos is a Limted & VAT registered company, which means we can legally service and maintain any vehicle still under manufactures warranty, and your warranty will remain in force.

Yes. As a accredited AA Garage we are able to deal with your warranty.
